Mark will explore evolving urban forest management, including a discussion of 20 years of experience with utility and infrastructure conflicts and dealing with it from a municipal perspective.
9:45—10:45 a.m. Utility Pruning—Industry Perspective of How and Why
Terry Smith, Vegetation Management, Duke Energy
Terry will discuss utility pruning techniques, the customer notification process that addresses conflict between utilities and trees, and the need for utility clearance standards.
