The NC Urban Forest Council presents the third installment of our 2018 Tree Board Webinar Series, with presenter Dana Karcher with the Arbor Day Foundation. These webinars are intended to offer insight and examples of how local tree boards and tree commissions can improve their effectiveness and efficiency within their communities, leading to better tree care programs. The series is intended for tree board/tree comission members, giving them better knowledge of tree care practices, but anyone within a municipal tree care program can benefit from the webinars. All webinars are free to attend, but registration is required.
When creating community through trees, it is important to know we aren't alone! Partnerships provide the opportunity ot work collaboratively, lessen the work load, and create synergy. Partnerships also help show strength in messaging the value of trees to communities. Whether a partnership is informal or formal, on-going or project based, this webinar will explore ideas that create collaboration by working with others to grow canopy and engagement in your community.
Participants must register by July 17th at 5pm to receive an email with the webinar link.
