Carolina Canopy Workshop: Tree Ordinance (Eastern Region)

The agenda for this workshop is being finalized and will be uploaded as soon as possible.
In sum, the workshop will open with two presentations by Keith O'Herrin (urban forester for Union County) and Joseph Joyner (project manager of urban forestry at Davey Resource Group). They will address the complexities of how you can implement and enforce tree proetection ordinances.
Representatives from local municipalities also will be present to provide case study reports of how they have updated and implemented their own tree protection ordinances in recent years.
Lunch will follow the presentations, affording all attendees with an opportunity to discuss their own tree protection ordinance issues.
