Please join us to learn more about the grant program and how municipalities, non-profits, educational institutions and state organizations can apply for 2020 NCFS Urban & Community Forestry (U&CF) Grant. More information can be found on the NC Forest Service’s web site HERE.
If you are planning on or considering submitting a grant proposal we request all potential applicants to attend one of the offered webinar sessions. This includes those of you who have attended a workshop or successfully applied for a NCFS U&CF Grant in the past. There have been numerous updates to grant program requirements and your proposal will be judged on meeting those requirements. Webinar attendees will be given an opportunity to ask questions and learn about:
· Grant submission requirements
· Grant project priorities and guidelines
· Formulate a well-written application, the foundation for funding consideration
· New contracting requirements, forms and updates to the Request for Proposals
All 4 free webinars will cover the same information. Register for only one webinar date/time. Only 20 spaces are available per webinar. REGISTRATION CLOSES ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26th. You will receive the webinar link via email on Friday, February 28th.
