Upping the Ante - Interesting Trees for Urban Landscapes
Presenter: Mark Weathington, Director of JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State University
Urban trees must be tough, attractive across multiple seasons, and tolerant of a wide range of
stressors. While a handful of trees are well-known and widely used, a greater diversity of trees could be
grown to reduce the problems associated with monocultures of urban trees. This presentation will discuss new and intersting trees to grow the urban landscape.
A webinar link will be emailed to registrants the day before the workshop.
