Ground Operations Specialist - Online Workshop

Nov 20, 2020

12:00 - 4:30 p.m. EST

Registration for this Workshop is now CLOSED.  Please contact Leslie Moorman at ncufc1@gmail.com with any questions.

The Ground Operations Specialist course is designed to help verify that employees understand basic safety concepts required to work on the ground during tree care operations and are qualified to work as ground workers.

Accidents involving brush chippers and chainsaws are a significant concern for tree care workers. Keep ground workers motivated and trained by giving them an industry credential. This will help companies verify, according to OSHA and ANSI Z133.1 guidelines, that they have given safety training to all your employees according to their job descriptions. It also helps to verify that employees understand basic safety concepts required to work on the ground during tree care operations and are qualified to work as ground workers.
