Arboricultural Biomechanics : How Trees Grow and Respond
Arborists frequently prune trees, use rigging to remove trees or tree parts, and install support systems. All of these practices can affect the likelihood of failure of a tree or tree part. But to understand how arboricultural practices affect the likelihood of failure, we have to understand some important engineering concepts. In this presentation, we will review those concepts and learn how to apply them to arboricultural practices.
A webinar link will be emailed to registrants the day before the workshop.
