9:00 – 10:00 a.m.  The basics of soil: From science to real world applications
In this session you will be introduced or reintroduced to what makes soil soil and how this science stuff applies to what you do with soil in the field.

10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  Soil remediation techniques: What to do with what you've got
You will get some tips in this session to take those problem sites and make the soils work for you to encourage the growth of trees for the long term.
